My Favorite Youtubers

I love to read and watch films/tv (hello new season of The Bachelor) but I definitely enjoy laying in bed and wasting hours upon hours watching other people’s lives online (again, hello new season of The Bachelor). So, here’s a list of youtubers that I watch all of or a majority of their videos.

VLOGS:

daily kailee (kailee mckenzie)

Kailee McKenzie is a dream girl. She lives in New York, owns an ethical high fashion line, is vegan, reads a lot, has a cute boyfriend, travels the world, oh and has amaaaaazing style. As much as I love watching videos about fashion, it’s her vlogs that really grasp me because her life is just so different than mine and I enjoy watching it. She’s also so soft spoken and smart, she’s crazy smart. Definitely check her out.

catcreature

Annabelle is a textiles major at RISD (basically she’s living the life I want to live). She has amazing videos about her art, days in her school life and she’s just adorable. She has orange hair (sometimes blue, green, blonde, black, long, short), speaks fluent Chinese, works out with her boyfriend and is very soft spoken. Her editing and cinematography is truly what sets her apart from other vloggers.

devon lee carlson

Have you ever heard of the band ‘the neighbourhood’ or of ‘wildflower cases’? Well chances are you know of Devon indirectly, she’s a co-founder/designer of wildflower cases and is dating the lead singer of ‘the neighbourhood’ jesse rutherford (and they’re freaking adorable). A little over a year ago she started vlogging and she’s just hilarious, extremely fashionable and despite her mega famous boyfriend and really successful business at such a young age she lives a pretty low-key life. She goes to hot yoga, has a cute as hell dog named Martin and plays bingo with her boyfriend, all while being hot as hell.

caitlyn rae

This girl is funny as hell. She’s still a relatively small youtuber but she’s had some popular videos, notably her one where she sits in a bathtub crying about one direction, relatable. She spends most of her time going to concerts in her home of Boston but she just recently moved to Hawaii and now her videos have gone up a notch. Check her out for some vlogs where you’re just lookin to giggle.

FASHION/LIFESTYLE:

sunbeamsjess

I will say this right now, she is my favorite youtuber of all time. I watched her vlogs religiously when she went to University in Edinburgh (studying English literature, ugh queen), then she moved back home to London to get her master’s (again, queen) and I only became more obsessed. Now, she posts vlogs, fashion videos and book videos. She has a grungy short haircut, wears doc martens everyday, has adorable Harry Potter-esque glasses, has a full sleeve, ears full of piercings, a beautiful dog and an equally grungy boyfriend who’s a chef (!!!!!). I could not be more obsessed with her, please check out her youtube and read her blog because she posts about all of my interests and I love her a lot.

maximilian hansen

This girl is …. a dream. She just frolicks around Sydney in her adorable clothes and super long curly hair, goes to the gym and then will go to Paris every once in a while. Goals. Oh, and she’s 100% German, moved to Australia from Germany when she was 11 and now she’s moving back to Germany and I STAN. I definitely prefer her vlogs over her fashion videos but her voice is so soothing I would listen to her read the phone book honestly.

lindseyrem

Lindsey is another one of my dream girls. She is a graphic design major (we love an artist!), she has amaaaazing style, great vegan recipes, and somehow makes colored eyeshadow work (we can only pray for ourselves). She’s so smart, crazy talented, beautiful hair, great taste in music and killer style. Everything she wears/does, I want to do, she’s like Regina George. Check her out for any content you’re looking for, she does it all honestly.

FITNESS:

boho beautiful

I love working out more than anything and my favorite kind of workout is yoga. I started doing yoga after I stopped doing competitive gymnastics because of some pretty bad back problems and yoga saved my life, I don’t say that lightly. I started doing yoga from youtube and still to this day boho beautiful is the only yoga videos I like. I’ve watched everyone else possible and I don’t vibe with them at all, but this wife and husband duo constantly kill it. They also post vlogs of their travels around the world and they are the dEFINITION of hippie but I love it.

zanna van dijk

Zanna is my fitness inspiration foh life ! She’s so beautiful, has a killer body and is a vegan/sustainable living queen! She’s taught me so much about how to live a sustainable lifestyle and how you don’t need to work out all day everyday to be healthy and have an aesthetically pleasing body. Check her out for what I eat in a days and fitness videos. (Side note: she just had emergency surgery while on vacation in the Maldives so get well soon Zanna!)

ART:

sara faber

Art has been something I’m pretty new to but a huge reason I got into it was Sara Faber. She is an illustrator from Germany and her art style is to die for, a huge inspiration for me. She posts day in the life vlogs including her vegan food (love), her adorable adorable dog, and she’s pregnant ! She looks adorable, she’s so soft spoken and her family is just so cute, I absolutely love her.

pypah’s art

I discovered Pypah from instagram but her youtube videos are flawless. She’s an animation student from Portugal, her art is absolutely stunning and she makes basically art porn videos. I’m just obsessed with her art.

OTHER:

shane dawson

I don’t think anyone can talk about youtube without mentioning shane dawson because he’s absolutely changing the way we watch youtube and the kind of media we’re consuming. I think what he’s doing is really impressive and talented, that being said, I think he’s made some questionable choices and picked people for his series that don’t really deserve to be “rebranded” or to have a second chance. But, he’s talented and hilarious and his videos are amazing no matter the subject matter.

chris stuckmann

My love for film will never die and runs deep through me and Chris Stuckmann will always have a special place in my heart. He’s one of the best film critics I’ve ever seen, he’s fair and has a wide variety of films/anime/video games that he reviews and he’s funny. Sometimes I think he’s a little too harsh but, his quality of videos makes up for that.

Obviously, I just like watching people who’s lives are wildly different than mine but for real I just want to be sunbeamsjess.

All the love xx, Amalia
